I contacted David Wingard, and with a sense of urgency, he arranged for me to bring my car in that same morning. I was very happy with my purchase, and the team who made it easy.

I thought the service lady that was working with me was being a bit racial, she spoke to me like I couldn't afford the services I was there for. She made me very uncomfortable; I didn't appreciate the way she interacted with me, when I told her my headlight was going to burn out soon she told me that whoever replaced the bulb in the first place put the wrong bulb in. "It's a new suv I've never had the bulb replaced before" but she was adamant about this wrong fact like I didn't know what I was talking about. I had to tell her repeatedly that there has never been any need to change the headlight before. I think I'll go somewhere else to get my headlight replaced

Jacob Valvano was my sales associate. He met my wife and I at the door of the dealership on March 25th. We arrived without notification to order a car. Jacob walked us through the process efficiently and professionally and kept me as informed as I believe was possible through the long wait for my car to arrive in Murrysville. Jacob shared our enthusiasm and handled the delivery as professionally as he did the ordering. The finance manager, Brian Savinda, wasted no more of our time than was absolutely necessary during the paperwork phase of taking ownership. He presented options for extended maintenance/care items but did not try and "hard sell" any of them. As far as my experience with the personnel that I had direct contact with at the dealership I could not have been more pleased. One more thing I feel should be mentioned: At our initial visit while Jacob walked us around the dealership showing us the location of the various departments every member of the team we ran into or across acknowledged us with a wave and a smile. It went a long way to giving us a feeling of confidence that we would be well taken care of going forward.

I have another appointment scheduled for Oct. 8th. This will be my 4th trip in for the same issue, only this time I have to leave the vehicle and take a rental. I understand some issues are hard to diagnose, but 4 trips ? The cost is covered by warranty this time, but what about the next. Currently not very happy.

I was a little confused as to where to drop my car off and where to enter the service department, but once I found my way, with the help of a nice employee, everything was fine. I was quickly checked in, instructed as to where to bring my car and where to enter for next time, and then sat in the lounge. I was periodically informed about my car.

Brandon was very helpful in helping me pick out the car I needed. Only complaint I have is really didnt want the sirius radio package at 299. for 3 years. was told I couldnt deleted it. Couldnt figure out if that is an add on why couldnt it just not be set up. really dont like being forced to pay for something I dont really want and if I did pretty sure I could have gotten it cheaper on my own.

incomplete service I had to make an addional trip back to (45 min trip both ways to complete the service (reset service monitor system)from a tire rotation. Since i made the extra trip i asked for atleast a car wash but was told it was broke ? Thanks

Another great experience by the service department

My change oil light came on 12 days after my inspection. If my oil life was checked, I could have gotten my oil changed at this appt instead of finding time 12 days later to come in for another appt. When I called in to ask if this was something that should have been caught during inspection, I was given the run around instead of just apologizing for the overlook and asking how they could help to fix it.. ex: giving me a rental car while I drop my car off again for an oil change.

The staff is great but it seems there are always things that can't get done at that visit. I always have to come back after they can find out something about warranty coverage, takes more time, etc.

hi wanted just oil and filter change , thy added a engine filter and charged me 80 dollars more , i didnt argue at the time but feel i should of been told before it was done , next time i will read complete work order before signing , if i come back . otherwise service ok , gerry

My appointment was at 10:00am at 11:30 they tell me I need new brakes and then give me the price I say I will get them done later or somewhere else, I asked the mechanic why it took so long to let me know that my truck would not pass and got no answer I said close it up I'll take my truck didn't get it until 1:00. Never again will I get a vehicle done there and we just bought a car there and we had to reclean all the inside windows they had a film on them.

I came in for a recall that required only to have a code number on my tires read to determine if the tires were under recall from Continental Tire. My expectation was that this would take no more than 15 minutes if the code was not the one being recalled, which it was not. I spent an hour in the waiting area, which was excessive for the task being performed. Moreover, the service department did not remove the paper mat or mirror tag: I had to do that myself. Not what I'd call 5 star performance.

Ok but I think you're prices are to high for inspection local garage is definitely less in area.

I have a 2025 Silverado EV RST that I purchased at another dealership. GM issued a vehicle wide update that makes the dash software so much better. My purchase dealership was not able to do the update and told me I could always go to another dealership. I'll I did and Jim Shorkey was able to take my truck and do the 4 hour update on the first try. Such a great experience with Dave and everyone else at the service department.

Anthony was amazing, very respectful, timely, and made sure we were taken care of. While waiting for Anthony to find the car we were approached twice to make sure someone was working with us. I brought my truck in for a noise and a problem with it jerking while driving from idle to 30mph. My advisor said it was a transmission problem. Which is covered under the drive train warranty. When I got my truck back, the noise was fixed but my truck still jerks worse than it did when I brought it in. I called and talked to Jeanine and she said that my computer is still figuring out my driving habits that I have to drive it 200 miles for all the fluids to take to the problem that was fixed. She stated that the mechanic changed gears in my transmission and fluids because they found metal in my transmission. But when she gave me the slip for the parts and the work that was done to my truck, there is no mention of changing gears. This does not make any sense to me as my truck is running worse than when I brought it in. I feel like I’m getting the run around.

I made an appointment for a sound recall. The lady who was my service rep was very friendly. My car had uploaded the sound recall by itself before I took it in (I didn't know that) I sat from 9:40 to 11;30. There were two other items that I addressed. 1)that I have to sign in every day to my Chevy app. 2) that my Google map on my car screen doesn't have a satalite view or a speed sign letting me know what the speed sign is where ever I'm traveling. She addressed it to me verbally but used words I didn't understand. I felt that in 2 hours they could have tried to fix my 2 concerns since my sound recall was already done.

Always a good experience at the dealership. Always let me know whats wrong or what needs done. Always offering snacks, etc while I wait.

Our truck is now stuck in the Walmart parking lot because it will not start. We haven’t even had the truck back 3 days from it being worked on. We are waiting to get in touch with you all, which is equally as frustrating. No one ever answers the service phone. Right before the holidays, and we don’t have a vehicle. You all had it for nearly 3 weeks, and we still have an undriveable vehicle. This is outrageous.

The service was done in a timely matter but I was told that I had to pay for my inspection. When I returned home I looked at my invoice from last year since Shorkey had completed the purchase from Watson Chevrolet and it stated Lifetime free inspection and that was one reason I bought out my lease. Very disappointed that they now decided not to honor it.

Courteous, efficient, comfortable waIting area but 20 mile round trip. We bought our Impala from Watson who included free lifetime inspections. Shorkey as successor WAS honoring that perk, but you charged us this time. It's no longer worth the drive. We will be getting our service closer to home in the future.

Very disappointed! Was told I needed a new battery and that it might take awhile because of the location of the battery! Agreed to purchase and get battery installed! Next thing 15 to 20 minutes later my car is right out in front ready to go! My bill $270 for battery which is okay but $199 labor to install! It took maybe 20 minutes at most! That’s about $600 an hour labor rate! I am in shock and feel scammed! I am a regular customer both in purchasing and service but feel that this labor charge must be drastically reduced for me to return in any capacity!

In comparison to other Chevy dealers in the general area of which I attempted to deal with SHORKEY CHEVROLET is far out in front. As for Bob Fox our salesman he was professional and courteous during the entire transaction. Fact is I really was not intending to trade up however it was Bob's attitude that changed our mind and we went for the deal. I refrained from a 5 star rating because of the financing which I felt could have been much more favorable to us however the FICO scoring was INCORRECT and I should have got a far better interest rate so now I have to arrange to refi at some point to save and counter the $6000 plus interest which is not to my liking. I realize I did not have to accept the offer however after going thru at least 4 other Chevy dealers I was fed up and decided to accept the offer only because of Bob Fox who I do rate at a FIVE STAR! I do want to offer you my opinion of On-Star who employs reps who DO NOT know what they are doing. I am still attempting to resolve an issue with on star relating to the 2023 Trailblazer I traded in. Same goes for Sirius XM who has my account all screwed up. My son owns a 2021 TB and he is thinking of trading up and if he does he will be calling Bob Fox. Our Silverado's check engine light came on so out to the Chevy garage it went to have it checked out. After running the diagnostic, they found that the camshaft & lifters had failed which resulted in a complete top half of the engine getting overhauled. The cam & lifters were replaced along with the water & oil pumps, numerous gaskets, pipes, hoses & other parts necessary to complete the rebuild. When we got our truck back it ran better than new. The power was back & the engine idled so smooth & quiet you could barely hear it run & the same for the transmission as far as shifting gears while driving. The tech that worked on our truck was Jesse & he did a super job! Our salesmen asked me who was doing the work & I replied to him that Jesse did the work. I was told by numerous people there that he is a very meticulous person & is very, very good on engines & transmission's & I certainly agreed with their assessment of his work. I even complemented him on his work & told him the truck runs great. Thank God for our extended warranty $7,124.42 was the total cost of this repair all covered under warranty which included the 8 days of a rental vehicle. I cannot thank the service department enough for going over & above to get our Silverado repaired & taking very good care of us. We have been dealing with Jim Shorkey formally Watson Chevrolet for well over a decade know & in our case we have never had a problem. We over the years have built a great working relationship with them & any issues that we may have had have been rectified to our satisfaction. Others may have or had issues but, in our case, never a problem. Honestly, I won't go to any other dealer for repair work on any of our vehicles. A huge shout out to Jesse he is awesome. He assured that I was comfortable and kept me informed of the process. For the last several years, I have leased. This time I made a purchase. I love that Bob explained to me that I could still trade my car in three years, even if I did not go with the lease option. The difference was in three years, I could trade in because I wanted to not because I had to. That had never been explained to me in that way before.

Big on customer service and this location is great at it. Other Chevy dealers in my area(Wexford/Bellevue) could care less and are extremely rude. Their techs are very fast and efficient. My appointment was at 1pm and I was out by just after 1:30ish. Plus they wash your cash which I love!

I had an issue with the Traverse I purchased from Jim Shorkey Kia in September. It ultimately came to having a new engine installed which was thankfully covered under my warranty I purchased. As I drove off the lot from picking up my vehicle with the new engine, my check engine light came on. I immediately turned around and brought it back to the service center. They ran a diagnostic test and said I had a cracked flex pipe that needed replaced. It was also put in the notes that they saw this issue while replacing my engine. I don’t understand why I was not made aware of this issue in the 4-5 days it took to replace the engine. I would think the service center would want to repair it or at the very least make me aware of the issue. They would have had to remove and put this part back on in the process of the engine replacement. Why would they not ask to repair it then? The quote I received from the service center was for $1,350 and the repair would not be covered under warranty. I’m really frustrated with the situation and don’t feel like my service needs were met.

That means everything to me, because I wouldn't make this up, and quite honestly, I really don't have the time to be bringing my truck back every time I see moisture in the headlight. Thank you so much for that. It's a good feeling to know that you have a dealership that works with you and stands behind you. You guys should be proud of that, because many dealerships are only worried about making money off people, and charging them unnecessarily. Good feeling to be able to put trust in something.

Jim Shorkey, your work force personnel is outstanding. However, the tires on my 2023 Transverse with 13800 miles are worn out with no replacement inside. What I'm stating the tires should not have worn down that quickly.

I am retired from the Auto business. Beginning in 1972 and ending in 2003 because of health related issues, I worked for many of the large Pittsburgh based dealers and cannot remember ever meeting one legit salesman. I came to Shorkey Chevy after attempting to deal with two other chevy dealers, in Greensburg and Latrobe. Bob Fox answered my inquiry. I expected to be subjected to the usual idiocy that the higher percentage of car salespeople employ however in this case quite the opposite occurred. Bob Fox is the exception. Bob handled the entire transaction with exceptional professionalism. No attempts to bamboozle me with the usual BS employed by the greater number of dealers and salespeople. If I was a dealer I would seek out people like Bob Fox to represent my business. Bobs method of selling should be the standard!

While always nice and promt I asked the lady to also do the recommended maintenance coming up and I believe they only did the oil change so ill have to bring it back for that and they said that my car stated i was averaging 23mpg per the last 25 miles and I reset it and it says im averaging 14mpg which is falling in line with what im averaging based on filling it up and setting the tripometer. So im clearly burning way too much gas. I filled up on Monday or Tuesday and ive driven 125 miles and I have 2 bars of gas left. I used to get almost 300 miles a tank.

The dealership is the best in the area! We’ve had much experience at that dealership, even with the previous owners. We have purchased at least six or seven vehicles from that dealership. When Jim Shorkey took over, it became an even better dealership. Everyone there is so down to earth and pleasant. They treat you like family there. We absolutely love our salesman, Johnny Matta. Ernie is another great guy. Our financial person, Robert Schilling was so friendly and so nice to work with. What a great sense of humor. Ricky Suarez goes above and beyond! We met some other people, but I can’t remember their names. However, they were also super friendly. The whole dealership feels very much like home. And I have to mention Johnny again. We just love him. We are absolutely sure that we will always go back there when we are in need for another vehicle.

However i bought my vehicle on 3/27/26 and during the month of march you guys had a promo incentive going that if you bought a brand new vehicle you would get a $500 gift card. I made it very clear that i was interested in this promo. I was told i wouldn’t need to do anything to get it and that i would just receive it via mail. I have yet to receive this incentive. And i really hope we can get this resolved in a timely manner.
