The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer is a bold, spacious, and stylish SUV. It exceeds the fuel efficiency of predecessors. The 2021 Trailblazer is available in 5 trims, two engine options, and either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. It also comes with various new technological features such as push to start, park assistant, and more, for added convenience.
Trim Levels
The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer has five trim levels. They include L, LS, LT, ACTIV, and RS. All the trims have a sharp and stylish design. They all have slim halogen headlights, but you can get LED headlights in the RS and ACTIV trims. Moreover, the standard taillights in the ACTIV and RS trims are LED. Each of the 2021 Chevrolet trailblazer trims have 16-inch wheels, except the RS, LS, LT, Activ, which has 17-inch wheels. You can also upgrade the wheels on the RS to 18-inch aluminum wheels. Engine
The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer has two engines and two transmissions available across all the trims. You can select either a 1.2 or a 1.3 liter engine. The engine could also have a continuously variable transmission or a standard automatic transmission. If you opt for the all-wheel-drive engine, you will get a default nine-speed automatic transmission. The 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine is available for the L and LS trims. It has a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and produces 137hp and 162 lb-ft of torque. There are 1.3-liter engines with no nine-speed automatic transmission and some with CVT. The 1.3-liter engine produces 155hp and 1174 lb-ft of torque. It is available on the LT, RS, and ACTIV trims. The LT engine comes standard with CVT but has available nine-speed transmission. The RS and Activ engine is standard nine-speed transmission, not CVT.
Performance
The CVT makes the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer stable at high speeds. Your acceleration pad will respond to light touch. It can also handle winding roads well at high speed. The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer also offers excellent fuel consumption thanks to the CVT, the three-cylinder engines, and front-wheel drive. The 1.3-liter engine consumes between 29-33 mpg. However, the 1.2-liter engine has a lower consumption that ranges from 28 to 31 mpg. The AWD 1.3-litre nine-speed auto transmission also offers impressive fuel consumption of 26 to 30 mpg.
